Perspective de rencontre avec les Sinclair
Dear Eric, I have had an email from Ron Sinclair, the Clan Sinclair Editor, who tells me he is happy to include your story about Caithness and the
Castles, in the
Spring issue of our newsletter. He tells me he has changed only one wording
which he explains that the Castles are SinclairGirnigoe and not as we all
thought two castles. We will have to accept that the archaeologists know what
is correct.
I hope your article in our newsletter will provoke some interest. It will give
our members who have not visited Caithness a different perspective on the
county with the views of someone with a great love of the county, and
especially the Castles . As I explained, we do not have many French speakers
in the Clan at present.
I hope we can meet with you and your family when you are in Caithness . Rena
& David will be happy to joins us here for a meal if a suitable date can be
arranged.
Sincerely,
C'est le ciel des Highlands, c'est la lande du Caithness et les odeurs de tourbe qui voltigent dans l'air ! Je suis chez moi, Max ! (Heather. Acte
