La petite fée de la petite fille

Troisième volet de la série lutins et fées : je joins comme promis un extrait de la lettre que j’ai reçue en même temps que la photo que vous avez déjà découverte…

“The story behind this photo is that a man who lived not far away from my house had a little daughter. Always she would pretend she had a little friend but her parents thought it was only a child’s game she was playing. Anyway, she took a photograph of her father in the garden and when it was developed the little girl said she could see “her friend” in the short grass.

This section of the photo was enlarged and as you can see, there appears to be someone in the grass. The photo was sent to Kodak and the Royal Air Force to test if it was in any way false and they could not find anything wrong with it. Later a television programme was made about “fairies” and this photo was part of the programme.

As you can imagine, I was very excited about this and in fact I met the man only two weeks ago and the girl who took the photo. He seemed to me to be a very honest man and I certainly don’t think he would lie...”
